Therapeutic Movement and Nurture Sessions

The sessions focus on physical exercise and activities that are designed to help develop a child’s core strength, co-ordination, self-esteem and deepen relationships & communication skills between parent & child.  All sessions are delivered by qualified practitioners.

Using the therapeutic attachment principles from our Nurturing Touch Programme alongside Educational Instruction on Movement and Forest and/or Outdoor Activities, the sessions are designed to be fun for the children and adults alike; aiming to build relationship between child and parent which will build both confidence and esteem. We understand the importance of the child / parent relationship and we will foster this alongside other developmental need.

With parent participation, the parent can develop their own appreciation of the difficulties and challenges their child is faced with and learn alongside their child in an interactive programme- developing a nurturing approach to managing everyday challenges with their child. All skills learnt are transferrable between the therapeutic setting and home.
